Default Fundraiser raffle in Chicagoland!

I'll keep this very short and to the point as I don't want this to come off in the wrong way. Mods please let me know if anything is not by the rules and how to fix it.

This is in no way meant to promote my business or anything of the sort, which is why I'll simply say that people interested should please PM me as I don't want to post any other contact information. That or email me at ivopivo11@gmail.com (non-work email).

I'm one of a few Chicagoland auto detailers doing high quality work in the area and I'm organizing a simple raffle with intent to raise money for the American Cancer Society (or another charity/organization... I'll decide after talking it over with some people).

'Tickets' will be sold for $4/each or $10 for 3 'tickets'. Max number of 'tickets' will be 3 to begin with, but if there's enough interest and many 'tickets' are purchased, I will notify people that they can buy more if they would like.

Winner will be randomly chosen at the end and will receive a free detailing service from me. The service will somewhat reflect the amount raised but will definitely be worth more than the $10-20 each person will/can pay.
(For example, if one person purchases 6 'tickets' for $20, and those are the only 6 'tickets' sold, that person will get a wash or wash & wax upwards of $40-50... if 50 'tickets' are sold, raising roughly $180, the winner chosen will get a thorough detail with no paint correction... wash, light clay, wax, interior, engine, etc, worth maybe $175-225.... if 100 'tickets' are sold, it'll be approx. $350, and winner will get a 1-step correction... and so on) If there's a very high number of interested people, and the funds start going over $500, it's likely 2 winners will be chosen. Long story short, prize will reflect the funds raised.

Note: I say 'ticket' because I have decided to forgo actual ticket distribution and simply keep track of everyone that donates money by assigning to them a certain number. I will make note of these #s and emails/donation records will help keep track of everything. Reason being is that instead of the usual 2-3 hour 'event' raffle, I will extend this to 2-4 weeks depending on the interest, and people tend to lose stuff like tickets easily. To make it fair however, instead of just choosing a random number, I will write the numbers down on small pieces of paper and pick one. Let's just say it'll be fair.

As for the money, I know that many of the members here don't know me, and I'm sure some may think this has potential of being a scam. While it might sound like one, since I'm a new member here, I urge anyone thinking that to do some research and ask around as I have nothing but a great reputation throughout Chicagoland, detailing and otherwise. I don't need the few hundred $ and would never do such a thing.

Money will definitely go to a good cause (it will be of my choosing, but I think my mom, who just survived a year old battle with breast cancer, will have the final word).

Please spread the word and thanks for looking!
