Swirling generally comes from incorrect drying or basic maintenance techniques. I love the cali duster and use it all the time. However, I see people using it wrong probably 90% + of the time. You never want to use any pressure (obviously) and you don't want to use it if you park outside overnight because the late evening/morning dew will "set" the dust on your car and when you go to dust it off, it will just spread and swirl up the car. When you're done washing your car, use a leaf blower to blast most of the water of and us a plush microfiber towel to blot the rest of the water off.

Always remember to use 2 buckets when you wash your car. It's also a good idea to use a little bit of QD prior to drying your car. Don't use automatic car washes and always use sheepskin wash mitt for washing your car.

I am noob to real detailing and I was wandering if you guys had a how to. So I can get my honda to look like your pictures. ANy help would be apretiated. I just bought the an ultima care care kit. Thank you in advance. |
