Finally had a nice Spring wkend to take Godzilla for a stretch. On Sunday afternoon, March 22, in Naperville and Plainfield, IL, I saw:
1. a Cobra roadster (early 289 cu.in. style), possibly orig (?), in a strange greenish gold color. Older gent and the missus on board.
2. another Cobra roadster (later 427 cu.in. style), probably a replica (?).
3. a gorgeous, Ford GT, black with white stripes.
4. Finally, saw another R35 GT-R on the road! black, with a youngish couple on board. Exchanged thumbs-ups, hellos, and BIG GRINS. He said he'd gotten his in Nov (vs mine in Sep). Then we were off down the road (75th St).
Fyi, Bill Kay Nissan in Downers Grove, IL just sold its White GT-R. They still have two left (Red and Black). Then no more for ~6 months when they expect to get 2010s.

Forgot to mention that last week I spotted a Black Series Mercedes CLK on a flatbed headed north on 294.

~1:30 pm today Eastbound on Ogden Ave in Naperville, near Naper North HS. A late model, black, Bentley 2-door fastback (sorry, I don't know the model). Absolutely Gooooorgeous.
