July 15, 2009, 8:04 am, in Naperville on Hobson Road, just West of Naper Blvd:

Sweet Black Maserati Gran Turismo S, guy driving, turned from Naper N-bound to Hobson W-bound. I've seen this guy several times before going the opposite way during the afternoon commute. But this time I was sitting in the left turn lane with the window down as he accelerated past --- GREAT sound from that Ferrari-based engine. Gave him a big thumbs-up out my window, and got a wave in reply.

Orange Lamborghini spyder, Gallardo or Murcielago (only got a brief glimpse as it went by), headed W-bound.

August 15, 2009, ~2:15 pm in Joliet, IL, on S. Patterson Rd, about 1/4 mile North of Autobahn Country Club. Headed N in my Gun Metallic GT-R, passed a Black GT-R headed S. (only the 2nd one I've ever seen at random while driving, i.e. not counting to/from and at car meets).

August 15, 2009, ~3:15 pm, in Naperville, IL, on Diehl Road, 1/4 mile West of Naperville Road. As I was headed West, passed Carla in her can't-miss-it green Lambo Murcielago spyder (a.k.a. BAD BUL) headed East. I was in my wife's Honda Accord, so Carla didn't notice me.

^I saw a few GTRs on the road in Daytona Beach and Orlando.

^ Dino, Dino, Dino --- OK regarding spotting cars in Orlando, but when you're in D-Beach, you're supposed to be spotting the GIRLS. Straighten up or we'll have to change your moniker from Dino as in Martin, to Jerry as in Lewis. Hehe.

There are TWO Bugatti Veyrons and a Lamborghini Reventon at Silicon Valley Auto group. Gorgeous. Oh and they also had the New Rolls Ghost on display
