Thumbs up GT-R wins 2009 One Lap of America

Steven Rankins and Will Taylor, prepped and raced their 2009 Nissan "Cannonball GT-R" to the 1st Place Overall victory in the 2009 running of the One Lap of America. The unique event comprised:

- 2 or 3 drivers per car
- 8 consecutive days of competition (May 2-9, 2009)
- 18 individual race events (primarily road circuits, plus a speedway oval, autocross, drags, and dry & wet skidpads)
- 9 race venues
- 3400 miles of endurance driving between the race venues
- little spare time for sleeping or eating, much less for car repairs if needed
- natural weather conditions at each race event
- only one set of tires per car for all the travel AND the racing.
